Essmart Pitches and Wins Audience Choice @ SECON!

On Sunday, Jackie pitched Essmart at the Harvard Social Enterprise Conference. We were finalists and had the opportunity to pitch in front of a 1,000+ person audience! It was quite the thrill, and we took home the Audience Choice award. Knowing that the audience resonates with the problem we’re trying to solve is an encouraging feeling. I’ll put up some pictures once we have them. I do know that Jackie and I will attempt to deposit a ginormous check into an ATM in the upcoming days, so please stay tuned (Clarification: As in ginormous, I mean physically large. The monetary amount isn’t much.)
